Leaving Bangkok
Looks like I'm getting to grips with the images now, so I'll keep them coming.
Bangkok is a pretty crazy place.
Even crazier if you're a tourist there. Wherevere you go there's always someone ready to take some money off you, or to take you to someone else, who's prepared to take your money off you. The Khao San road is teeming with life and people who long like they're teeming with life. It's where everyone, who goes to Glastonbury, spends the rest of the year acummulating longer dreadlocks. (Contrary to several comments I shall not be attempting to grow dreads on my trip. Dreadlocks with a combover? I don't think so).
The food stalls on the street are the way to eat. All sorts of great thai food, ready in about 30secs and costs about 50 pence for a slap up dinner. The same applies for breakfast, although I've been opting for the fruit smoothies and pancakes over the more traditional rice soup. One stage at a time eh?
So, a week in Bangkok is quite enough. I've been waiting for my visa for Burma(Myanmar) which arrived without any issues. I haven't been to the pat pong area yet and have only met a couple of ladyboys. So all the lads at the rugby club will have to wait until I pass through Bangkok again, in a couple of months. I'm sure I'll have some more entertaining stories for you then.
